Bio
Rebecca Maisenbacher was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Southern Indiana. Rebecca gave her heart to the Lord at four years of age. She attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and received a B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and Library Science. She earned a Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education from St. Francis University in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. In 1970, she was a Miss Indiana finalist and Ball State University Homecoming Queen.
Rebecca worked in public education for 28 years as a Speech Language Therapist, Special Education Teacher and Librarian. During her educational career, she was honored twice as Teacher of the Year and was recognized as a finalist for Polk County Florida Teacher of the Year. She has served in children and youth ministry, choir and psalmistry, conducted seminars and taught various classes about God’s love, marriage and relationships, prayer and intercession, physical and emotional healing, the gifts of the Spirit and hearing God over the last 35 years.
Rebecca is a graduate of King’s Way Bible Institute in Dayton, Ohio and an ordained minister with training in pastoral counseling. Rebecca has developed and facilitated numerous home groups with her husband, Richard Maisenbacher. Rebecca and Richard are actively involved in training, equipping, raising up and releasing leaders in the Body of Christ as founders and pastors of Covenant Outreach Ministries, Inc. and The Covenant Center in Lakeland, Florida. Rebecca teaches in the Covenant School of Ministry and Covenant School of the Spirit. She is the author of If I’m Healed By His Stripes, Then Why Do I Still Hurt?.
